Breadfast Launches Comprehensive Safety Program for Delivery Drivers

With the e-commerce and delivery services sector growing super fast, driver safety has become one of the biggest challenges for companies in this field. In a move that shows a real shift in how they think about managing risks, Breadfast has announced a comprehensive, multi-stage safety program for its delivery drivers across the entire country. The aim is to build a sustainable system that prevents accidents, rather than just dealing with them after they happen.

This program is part of a strategic approach that connects operational safety with continuous service. It relies on a complete package of measures, including providing personal protective equipment, medical and social insurance coverage, and intensive training programs designed to reduce the daily risks drivers face on the roads.

The measures include distributing certified safety helmets designed to resist impacts while also being comfortable and well-ventilated. Using these helmets is now part of daily inspections to ensure everyone complies. Breadfast has also activated a comprehensive insurance umbrella in partnership with Nextcare, making sure drivers get quick medical care if they have work-related injuries.

Digital System for Accident Monitoring

The program also uses a digital system to track accidents and "near misses." This allows them to analyze operational data, pinpoint risky areas, and make continuous adjustments to gradually improve safety standards.

To boost professional skills, the company is focusing on ongoing awareness programs about defensive driving, following traffic rules, and managing risks on the road. They're rolling out the first phase in cities with the highest operational activity to measure the impact and fine-tune how things work before expanding geographically.
