As the demand for display technologies continues to grow in the Middle East, BenQ has strengthened its regional presence by leading projector sales in three of the region's largest markets. The global company, specializing in visual display solutions, announced it topped the projector market in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt during the first quarter of 2026, according to the latest market share data. The company confirmed that these results reflect its continued leadership across various projector segments, including home entertainment, business, and education. In Saudi Arabia, BenQ achieved a significant milestone by leading all major projector categories during the first quarter of the year, a performance that highlights the strength of its brand in one of the fastest-growing projector markets in the region. According to company data, BenQ led the 4K UHD projector market in the Middle East with a market share of 42%. It also secured the first position in the Full HD projector market in Saudi Arabia with a 42% market share. Furthermore, BenQ dominated the personal projector market (those with brightness less than 2000 lumens) in Saudi Arabia, achieving a market share of 82%. The company stated that these results are a testament to years of investment in developing projector technologies tailored for homes, businesses, and educational institutions across the Middle East. "BenQ's leadership in the projector markets of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt during the same quarter is an achievement we are proud of, and it reinforces our strong commitment to the region," the company added. It noted that its performance in the Saudi market during Q1 2026 surpassed all competing brands across various projector categories, whether 4K UHD, Full HD, or personal projectors. This reflects the increasing demand for its solutions among consumers, businesses, and educational institutions. The company emphasized that Saudi Arabia represents one of its most strategic markets, indicating that leading all projector categories in the same quarter demonstrates the success of its product portfolio and strategy in meeting the needs of diverse customer segments. BenQ's portfolio includes 4K UHD home cinema projectors, portable personal projectors, Full HD projectors, as well as ultra-short throw and short-throw projectors designed for the business and education sectors, all available throughout the Middle East.
