They've become part of a digital ecosystem that relies on data analysis, risk prediction, and supporting operational decisions. This transformation is prompting many sectors in Egypt to increasingly adopt smart surveillance solutions, especially with the expansion of smart city projects and digital infrastructure. Anas Al-Zoubi, Engineering Consulting Manager at the Swedish company Axis Communications, which specializes in smart surveillance solutions, stated that the smart cities sector is at the forefront of those experiencing growing demand for advanced surveillance technologies in the Egyptian market. He explained that the role of cameras has changed significantly in recent years, evolving into tools for analyzing reality and understanding operational patterns, rather than just a means to monitor events after they occur.
