Arab Startups Secure $303 Million in March Investments, Fintech Leads the Way

The Arab region's startup markets saw significant investment activity during March 2026, with 20 investment deals announced, totaling $303.1 million.

Investment Volume and Sectors

Fintech was the most attractive sector for investments, drawing $259 million across 4 deals. Healthtech followed with $15 million from two deals, then Foodtech with a $12.2 million investment in a single deal, and finally Digital Currencies, which secured a total of $7.5 million through two deals.

Key Deals

The largest deal was $250 million for 'Advanced Digital Gaming Technology' (ADGT), in partnership with Blackstone, Raya Holding, NRT Technology, and Sightline Payments. A pre-Series B funding round worth $15 million went to TruDoc, a virtual healthcare platform. An investment of 45 million UAE Dirhams (approximately $12.2 million) was made in CarniStore, a company specializing in food technologies.

Compared to March 2025

The number of deals decreased from 26 in 2025 to 20 in 2026. However, the total value of investments significantly increased from $107.5 million in March 2025 to $303.1 million in March 2026.
