Al Baraka Insurance Company took part in a specialized panel discussion on cybersecurity, held as part of the Libya Digital Forum 2026 in Benghazi. During the discussion, the company talked about how important cyber insurance is for raising awareness of digital risks and helping organizations deal with increasing cyber challenges. Zakaria Al Barouni, the General Manager of Al Baraka Insurance, represented the company at the discussion. He shared the company's experience in cyber insurance and highlighted its role in developing this sector and boosting awareness about the importance of insurance solutions to tackle electronic risks. The company confirmed that the discussion featured fruitful conversations about how to strengthen cybersecurity and the need to build a corporate culture capable of handling growing digital threats, all of which supports Libya's digital transformation efforts. The Libya Digital Exhibition and Forum 2026 is scheduled to take place from July 27 to 30, 2026, at the Benghazi International Conference and Exhibition Center. It is officially sponsored by the Ru'ya Foundation for Digital Economic Development and Strategic Studies, with support from the Benghazi Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences.
